I heard that he dropped all his weight for a role in the movie “Things Fall Apart” where he plays a football player who contracted cancer. He was 214 bs and with his liquid diet and walks, he dropped to 160 lbs.

I am supposed to consider this as my THINSPIRATION for my weight loss, but he just looks so sad. I guess he is taking this movie title to heart…I MEAN LOOK AT HIM!!!

Does this mean that he will get an Oscar for this role?

God forbid!

I love both these girls but I love Jennifer Hudson more. She

I have followed her since her American Idol days and back then, I didn’t understand why people didn’t believe in her.

Obviously, they were wrong. She just keeps getting better and better and rubbing it in Simon Cowell’s face along the way.

It has been a while since I last heard from her (not that I am waiting for her to give me a call or anything), so I am glad to see that she is (yet again) in the new soundtrack of SATC 2. I wonder if she made a cameo though.

…at least according to Jake Gyllenhaal.

He was interviewed by Entertainment Tonight – Canada and this is what he has to say about his workout regimen and according to him, he has his long hair to thank.

Jakes says,  “The Jake Gyllenhaal workout plan…starts with growing long, long hair. Very long…gorgeous greasy locks and then washing every day….Wash, shampoo, then condition. Washing works the biceps and then the triceps by conditioning. And vigorously rubbing all of your body with soap really defines the abs and the pectoral muscles. And if you do squats while you’re bathing — that’s it!”

I think I just unlocked the secret that would help me triumph over my huge DIET FAIL!!!

Not literally since there were other people in the theatre…but yes. I have done what every co dependent, relationship-ready and bank robber dreads to do, I DID SOMETHING ALONE.

*Cue in the Band*

I finished a gruelling two hour work out in the gym and decided that if no one is available to watch the Iron Man 2 with me, then I will go alone. I made the call, got my dinner and got there all in a span of 20 minutes.

 So cliche to say that I feel so empowered but I did feel that. I was so proud of myself for:

  1. Well, first off, going to the theatre alone and wearing my after gym clothes (it is ugly).
  2. Making it to the theatre on time even when I decided to go twenty mins before show started. I got a great seat, too.
  3. Sneaking in outside food and not some finger food crap…I brought a two piece chicken in. 🙂

I was feeling pretty good all throughout the movie, well in addition to the movie being AWESOME, I just felt like and odd apple because I was sitting in between two families. I even saw this kid staring at my in house snack…and no, I didn’t share. But I was there. I didn’t leave and I lasted.

Since I was feeling pretty swell plus I am the person with a little guilt, I decided to bring my food out to throw myself. I ended throwing most of my stuff and my bag because the gravy spilled inside it.
